The Newshounds had a great item today about how Fox News has officially been warned by Hezbollah to stop reporting locations of Katyusha rocket launchers. Hezbollah officials accused the “fair and balanced” news sleuths of aiding Israel by reporting too much information about direction and postions of outgoing rocket fire. It may have been Fox News’ boyface reporter Bill Hemmer who got Hezbolla all up in arms based on a report he gave earlier in the day as show in the video above. After the jump we present an excerpt of Bill’s explosive report:

The Newshounds had a great item today about how Fox News has officially been warned by Hezbollah to stop reporting locations of Katyusha rocket launchers. Hezbollah officials accused the “fair and balanced” news sleuths of aiding Israel by reporting too much information about direction and postions of outgoing rocket fire. It may have been Fox News’ boyface reporter Bill Hemmer who got Hezbolla all up in arms based on a report he gave earlier in the day as show in the video above. After the jump we present an excerpt of Bill’s explosive report:

“The last hour a number of Katyusha rockets were fired down the valley. Now it’s possible that since that is the highest point looking up in the valley, that the Katyusha rockets may have been coming from that site, which would serve logic there if the F-16 went in there to take it out.”

Fox apparently agreed to stay out of intelligence gathering for Israel (for now) and even reassuringly read the Hezbollah request over the air, prompting the Newshounds bloggers to rightfully ask the question “…does that mean Fox News was negotiating with terrorists? Why can Fox News do that, but not the U.S. government?” Wow, is it possible that Rupert Murdoch is more stately then President Bush? Scary.
