Don’t mess with Montel’s marijuana! At the Marijuana Policy Project’s Awards Gala in NYC Monday night, Montel Williams, very candidly, discussed his absolute need for the herb to help him deal with the pain of MS. In a heart wrenching monologue that one would expect from talk show guests, Montel described how his “feet burn,” is “in pain 24 hours a day,” and the only thing that gives him relief is the good weed.
After the jump, the video of the voice-cracking marijuana medic bearing it all.

In a heart wrenching monologue that one would expect from talk show guests, Montel described how his “feet burn,” is “in pain 24 hours a day,” and the only thing that gives him relief is the good weed.
After the jump, the video of the voice-cracking marijuana medic bearing it all.

Montel begins off with jab at an older man who was carrying on a conversation when the talk show toker began to speak. He went on a mini tirade and declared “I’ve come all the way to do this, all I ask is you give me the dignity to listen for a second.” He then describes a laundry list of drugs he tried to ease the pain: oxycotton, percocet, vicodin and others. Towards the end of the speech Montel mentions how even his kids have become activists. His 12yr old who attends a private school right here in NYC was sent to detention because he disagreed with the teacher and proclaimed marijuana is medicine and not just a drug. Montel literally “rolled up on that school” and gave the backward thinking academics a piece of his mind.
