You mostly hear people talk about censorship in speeches, college lectures, and definitely under the arch in Washington Square but you rarely get too see said “censoring” in action.
At the Tribute to Israel parade in NYC this past Sunday, ANIMAL caught a plain clothes cop intimidating and “censoring” a protester who was obviously neither a security risk nor a threat, he was just trying to show how much he loves orange.
After the jump, see how pig headedness can sometimes violate people’s rights.

Clearly from the photo above, this cop was EYEING this guy from the moment he unfolded his orange “Olmert Caves Into Arab Terror” sign. Through the crowd the plainclothes cop follows him south down 5th Ave. As soon as the guy turns to head north to backtrack and join the other demonstrators, the cop refuses to let ‘em pass and tells him to beat it.
In this video the protester even tells the plainclothes copper of his intentions to meet up with the other demonstrators. But the cop tells him no and forces the man to leave. When he tells the cop that’s illegal for him not to show his ID or badge, the cop utters, “Why don’t you arrest me.”

Here are the other “trouble makers” the orange shirted man was trying to reunite with. And admittedly, even as anti-Semites, they were also middle aged and huggable too.
