Here’s a photo of artist David Choe getting started on a canvas he’s creating for the pro-Obama exhibit at the Manifest Hope Gallery in Denver that is coinciding with the DNC this weekend. The exhibit features a wide variety of work from lightboxes to mixed-media creations, so it should be interesting to see what the West Coast based painter come up with. He was just 8 minutes into it when this picture was snapped. “He’s like Gallagher, mops and hands and shit flying everywhere,” writes the tipster. In addition to his contributions to the Manifest Hope Gallery, Choe just released two new prints as part of that 008 Movement x Upper Playground series of Obamartists. The 18″X24″ print is being released in editions of 200 comes signed and numbered by the artist.
