With Obama-themed merchandise flying off the shelves, basketball-influenced streetwear brand Undrcrwn designed this t-shirt graphic (image above) just in time for the Democratic National Convention (August 25th-28th). It features Obama skying over a white flag waving McCain. Although the image might resemble that balls in your face Nike ad—that was subsequently pulled due to the sneaker giant’s oversensitivity—according to the brand’s marketing director, the b-ball inspired motif is actually a homage to “Vince Carter’s dunk over France’s Fred Weiss in the 2000 Olympics” and “Barak Obama’s smooth game.” It’s being sold via 400 or what is Denver’s version of Alife.
