Pro-Car ‘Observer’ Sees ‘Summer Streets’ As Communist
Not everyone is a fan of NYC’a car clearing Summer Streets program. The Observer’s Eliot Brown did a profile on DOT Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan and compares her support of the health promoting initiative to the founder of the Red Army:
“On the ideological scale of transportation planning, her policies err far closer to Trotsky than Reagan. She is decidedly pro-bike and pro-pedestrian, and thus inherently anti-automobile, earning her constant praise from the normally critical transit advocates.”
Makes sense, just look at what all those Red Chinese are being forced to ride around on. |Streetsblog|
