Featured in our Wildlife Issue, artist Nate Hill loves to rearrange the bible and animals. He’s starting a new monthly event called “Group Taxidermy.” The idea is to invite people to collaborate on a dead carcass collage using the “Chinatown fish market garbage as art supplies.” But Nate doesn’t want to limit your range of decaying creatures, urging people to “bring you own dead animals or parts if you wish.” The mix of dead flesh, scales, and ripped fur will be laid out on a table for everyone to touch. Latex gloves will be provided. So if you and some friends are looking for a fun group activity, join Nate on Thursday, May 8th and get your animal parts on the chopping block. For more info check his website or jump for the flyer.
