Lee was bitching about how bike lobbyists Transportation Alternative’s annual commuter race is intrinsically biased towards bikes winning year after year. Shocker, right? Lee mentioned her background in statistics and then went on to harangue TA spokesman Wiley Norvell about his claim that bikes are the fastest way to commute in NYC. She also described the TA as “essentially an anti-car lobbying group,” and drudgingly poked holes in the cycling commute theory, prompting some sarcastic comments and a response from the CityRoom:
