k9_2%5B3%5D-thumb.jpgYesterday around 7:10 p.m., four police officers approached a homeless looking guy that sells crappy mandala water color paintings in the Herald Square subway station. The starving artist, who has become a daily fixture and usually posts up near the F Train platform, was still sitting when he was asked for his ID. Then all of a sudden without any provocation, a K-9 officer decided to join the already heavy handed interrogation. He began to give his dog instructions and the German shepherd began barking viciously as the guy sat innocently on the floor, providing many shocked straphangers with a NYC style Abu Ghraib moment.
