The very thought of art on trains makes the MTA shutter—they did provide the rolling canvasses that made NYC’s subway graffiti possible in the first place—but in Japan, they embrace it, as long as its sanctioned. Pictured here is a Cyborg 009 train on the Senseki line. It features the work of local manga and anime artist named Shinomori ShÅtarÅ. Click through the ‘Tentacle’ to see the full collection of eye-popping, image adorned trains, a sight likely never to make its way to the city, unless it’s in the form of an ad—then it’s perfectly fine. |PinkTentacle|
