A long stiff sleek black shoe. Kiwi, via agency Grey Hong Kong, manages to slip (heh) both sexism and phallicism into one stupid body shop calendar-ready ad campaign. Many women say that the first thing they notice when meeting a man is his shoes. And many men say (to other men) that the first thing they notice when meeting a woman is her tits. So, here you have it: busty shoe fairies administering “dream” polishes to men’s footwear. But where’s the licking action? Because as any professional shoe shiner will tell, spit is the key ingredient to a perfect finish. Jump for a second ad in this subtle campaign featuring another chesty polisher in a negligee (with polish smeared on her left breast) rubbing the shiny tip of a dress oxford.
