250_kennedy.jpgWith the wall to wall coverage of Ted Kennedy’s brain tumor diagnosis by the cable news channels since early this afternoon, you would think the “Lion of the Senate” has already been boxed and buried. CNN, MSNBC, and Fox have been running remembrance interviews throughout the day, pushing the Democratic presidential campaign contests in Kentucky and Oregon out of the spotlight. And with the networks employing extra hands during primary coverage nights, there should be an unbroken stream of Kennedy ruminations all night long with in-depth analysis about his failed attempt for the Democratic presidential nominee during the 80s, what his endorsement now means for Obama, and definitely no word of Mary Jo Kopechne.
