350_pete_rose_warhol_.jpgThe Cincinnati Art Museum is pimping out it’s “Peter Rose’ painting by Andy Warhol, producing 1,000 prints of the signature styled pop art. Released in an edition of 1000, with the first 114 signed by “Charlie Hustle” himself, the disgraced Cincinnati Reds ballplaying gamester. It was commissioned by the museum in 1985 to acknowledge Rose beating Ty Cobb’s record. The Rose signed prints will be sold framed for $500. They’re accompanied by a photo of him signing the poster and some background on the painting—when doing any dealings with Rose, a visual proof is mandatory. The rest of the numbered, unsigned prints will sell for $50. They’re set for release on July 30th.
