New_Jersey_state_flag%20copy.jpg“The Garden State” could potentially take on a whole new meaning if a new bill is passed that would “legalize marijuana for medical use in New Jersey.” A state senate committee voted overwhelmingly to consider the bill, (S119), allowing for “patients with a written recommendation by their doctor to possess six plants and one ounce of usable marijuana and be free of the threat of state prosecution.” If passed, New Jersey would become the “14th state to sanction marijuana for medical uses.”
