350_mccain_dark_greenberg.jpgSometimes activist and photographer Jill Greenberg created quite a shit storm this week after she bragged about taking bad photos of John Sidney McCain III and then doctoring them while shooting a legitimate cover for political magazine The Atlantic. The magazine said it won’t be compensating her and was even considering legal action. She has also decided to abruptly leave the two agencies that repped her, Montage and Vaughan Hannigan—with principal Bill Hannigan telling PDN it was a “mutually agreed upon decision.” Luckily, the extremely talented and now especially controversial lenswoman has been embraced by the lovingly brave arms of ArtMix Photography. Greenberg is also aggressive as ever, posting this dark new image of McCain on her website that derides him for voting against creating a national holiday for lowly community organizer Martin Luther King.
