img_cannabis.jpgIn light of recent bad news for progressive weed policies from both the Netherlands and Switzerland—the Swiss actually passed a heroin initiative but struck down one for cannabis—it’s relieving to see the Germans are moving in the right direction. Beginning in January, at least four patients will be permitted to use “natural marijuana as medicine,” making Germany the 5th country in the world to allocate a government stash for needy citizens, joining the United States*, Netherlands, Canada, and Israel. Hopefully it’s as potent as that ancient shit. |MPP|
