250_natehill_EVE.jpgThis Friday, artist Nate Hill will fully unveil his E.V.E. project, the life-sized female sculpture created entirely from dead animal parts. For the past six months, he’s been assembling her from a litter of species, including a: bird, buffalo, cat, cow, coyote, dog, fish, lobster, octopus, ox, pig, rabbit, shrimp, and squirrel. We’ve seen E.V.E.’s hand, head, and now get a peek of her breasts. The handsewn carcass collage-sculpture will be displayed at the Silent Barn in Bushwood and is certain to smell quite ripe, so an empty stomach is recommended. |YM|
