Just in time for the Fourth, large scale painter Ron English took his presidential image of Barack Obama intermixed with Abe Lincoln and interspersed it in Boston. The oversized, newly colorized outdoor versions were installed as part of Gallery XIV’s ‘a politic exhibit. Additionally, he gave out a stack of smaller originals that made their way around town. The two-faced combinations have already caused quite a stir with the gallery fielding calls from the mayor’s office. Click below to see the artful inauguration in action, including a bonus video:
