Because their massively oversized screen in Times Square just wasn’t big enough, Toshiba has replaced it with a new 51.2×52.5 foot, full color LED display. Sitting atop One Times Square, the higher resolution screen provides HD quality and was supposedly “designed for enhanced eco efficiency.” Like the previous screen before it, Toshiba Vision Times Square will promote the brand’s products non-stop, 24 hour a day, and it will even “send out messages in tune with the seasonal changes of New York,” to the delight of tourists only.
