Archbishop Flattered By Creepy, Giant Portrait Of Himself
Back when he was still the of Archbishop of Milwaukee, artist Patrice Hudson painted this spooky portrait of Timothy Michael Dolan that he raved about:
“The size in itself was overwhelming… I just found it to be very humbling, to see her capture what I thought was a pretty vivid, colorful and warm presentation of me.”
The oil painting measures 60 x 48 inches and for about $3,000 more she would have painted him with legs.
