Cutesy Cursor Images Employed To End Suicide

Just imagine all the other unsolvable world problems art directors could solve if we’d just let them. While the graphic, unoriginal iPod ad-like layouts are easy on the eyes, addressing suicide with such a casual tone is pathetic and irresponsible. Plus, the mouse cursor scissors image is forced. Plus plus, showing the act of suicide in suicide help ads is known as a very bad idea within the field. Fyi: the posters were created by a Salt Lake City ad agency, Richter7, so there were maybe Mormons involved in the brainstorming sessions. Added tidbit: searching through suicide websites, I found about the worst acronym phrase ever—Is Path Warm? Bwahahaha! Visually related: Lego’s suicide ad. |Images: pixel blog|
