Graffiti ‘Queens Arrive’ In Williamsburg
Women have always been at the forefront of graffiti, but as is in most male-dominated endeavors, don’t always get the credit they deserve. Tomorrow night they’re front and center: “Queens Arrive,” a group show curated by Indie 184, opens at McCaig Welles Gallery in Williamsburg. Featuring some of the best female artists with roots in graffiti like ACET, CLAW, FAFI, and SILOETTE, the show promises to “showcase their intricate styles and personalities; bringing a refreshing perspective to the graffiti and street art gallery scene.” The show opens at 7 PM tomorrow and will be on view through May 4th at 129 Roebling Street.
