The Only French Music Video You’ll Ever Need To See

Let’s face it, no one cares about France’s music scene unless they’re into techno or even worse, house music, but this “Baby, Baby, Baby” video by electro rock group, Make the Girls Dance, is very relevant. It features three naked women brazenly strolling through the streets of Paris and while the video is certainly provocative, the actual lyrics are fun too. ANIMAL enlisted one of the M.O.B.’s foreign language proficient ladies to translate into English. See some of our favorites lines below.

A 200-pound chimpanzee that attacked a Connecticut woman has tested positive for the anti-anxiety drug Xanax. It’s not clear whether it contributed to the attack, in which the victim lost her hands, nose, lips and eyelids, but it’s likely that feeding an animal pills meant for panicky humans isn’t very smart. |NYP|

Artist Marion Peck opens “Ladies and Clowns” this evening, showing a selection of eerie oil paintings that mix classical and dreamlike fairy tale images to “alternately honor and challenge archetypes of beauty, femininity, serenity and joy.” The show opens tonight from 7 to 9 PM at Sloane Fine Art and is on view through June 13 at 128 Rivington Street on the Lower East Side.

Orangina’s Heckling Hyena-Hussy Hybrid

To advertise their light drink in Europe, Orangina brings their super-sexualized ani-animals out of the wild and into civilization with these two new spots. First, an ass-shaking blonde breaks a heel and falls flat on her hot fanny in front of the blue jean-wearing Miss Hyena and her two friends. Table-slapping shreiks ensue. Good thing blondie didn’t confront the cackling carnivore as Hyenas are known for their extremely strong flesh-rending bite. Jump for the second spot, featuring a horny, ass-sniffing, rollerblading, bikini-clad giraffe-girl. Campaign is by Paris agency Fred & Farid (FFL), who’re responsible for the most terribly pretentious jeans campaign I’ve ever seen. |Videos: Adme.ru| Read more »

Dumbo De-Fence Project Demolished

Wooden wildlife cut-outs were installed on some ugly scaffolding in Dumbo last week for the De-Fence Project, an “attempt to re-plant nature into the urban façade.” However, the evolution-themed art project that coincided with BKLYN Designs, was put up without permission. So earlier this week the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation tore the pro-nature project down, reminding people that they “have lots and lots of art events, but you just have to ask for permission,” before you try to spruce up their unsightly sidewalk sheds.

Mets Win After First Streaker At Citi Field

The sign policy for fans at Citi Field might be a bit ambiguous, but the dress code isn’t: nudity will not be tolerated. Last night, the stadium saw its first streaker who managed to slide into second base before being quickly escorted away by security. This video of the event is semi-NSFW, not because of the semi-naked runner, but the cameraman’s obnoxiousness. |Deadspin|

Great Bikes of Fire!

Photographer Martha Cooper caught some shots of Italian artist Paolo Buggiani riding his burning bicycle on the streets of Soho earlier this month. The fiery performance was part of “NY Street Art: Masters of the early 80′s,” a show that wrapped up last week at Space 45 and featured work by Linus Corraggio, Keith Haring and Ken Hiratsuka. |12oz|
