Robot Makes Abstract Expressionists Obsolete

At the Spring Show for NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, Oscar G. Torres presented Jackoon, a painting robot named after Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning. Although its paint splatters look random, the robot is laying down paint for a predetermined image. |DVICE|
