Although someone stole the first carved prayer wheel that FAILE installed on the street, its disappearance didn’t stop the Brooklyn-based art collective from installing another spinning sculpture in Williamsburg. The first piece, despite being bolted to the sidewalk, disappeared within a week so it’s a safe bet that the new installation, also worth many thousands of dollars, will have a similarly short stay on Bedford Ave. Click the images above for details of the wooden work and check the video of the art in motion after the jump.
