The barren lot of land at Canal Street and Sixth Avenue is getting rehabbed as “an exhibition space for large sculptures, an event space and public park as well as a tree nursery.” LentSpace, being programmed by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, will last for the next three to five years until the rezoning period ends and the owners can do something more profitable. |Curbed|
