The new owner of a five-legged puppy expedited surgical removal of the dog’s extra limb before a Coney Island freak show could stop her. John Strong is planning a lawsuit, saying he had an agreement to buy the dog for $3000 until Allyson Siegel made a $4000 offer to save the Chihuahua puppy from becoming a sideshow attraction. iPhone Captures Chelsea Bike Thief In Action

An observant cyclist reports he noticed the man ”looking a little sketchy” by the bike rack outside a Starbucks at 6th Avenue and 27th Street. They also filed a lawsuit that is almost nine years in the making against the circus for the harsh treatment of its Asian elephants. Ringling Bros. responded by launching a website for damage control, complete with propaganda video. Final arguments were finally presented in March of this year, but it’s still unclear how the case concluded.
