This hub let's you choose if you want a regular 1-speed or a fixed gear. Ya it's probably a pretty shitty bike but whatever, if it gets more people riding then I'm all for it. This is an inevitable extension of the fad that is fixed gear bikes. I'm sure some of the bike shop clerks will be relieved when they don't have to deal with as many clueless hipsters coming through their doors looking for a fixie with colored deep Vs and a top tube pad armed with daddy's cred it card; although they prolly won't appreciate the hipster revenue that urban's taking from them.
