Baseball fans are now free to take a bathroom break during Yankee Stadium’s rendition of “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch thanks to a Manhattan federal court decision. The new policy was brokered with the Yankees, NYCLU, and Bradford Campeau-Laurion, who got a $10k settlement from the city because two NYPD officers ejected him from the stadium for trying to relieve himself during the anthem, with one cop allegedly telling him, “Get out of my country.” |NYP|
