Everybody BamBrand! Actually, I’m surprised more automakers haven’t shamelessly jumped on the Cash For Clunkers marketing opportunity. In fact, they all should write pleading, hyperbolic ad letters to President Green Jeans—I’m sure he has plenty of leisurely reading time worked into his schedule these days. I’m also sure cash-strapped Americans are just itching to put an overpriced luxury car in their driveway—the lowest-priced Beemer is the One Series which retails for about 30 grand. “The time has officially come.” What hooey.
