I am a graduate student at NYU working towards a Master of Urban Planning degree and am extremely interested in how you all went about compiling daytime v. night time population of NYC? I have been conducting a research project for the last couple months which has entailed collecting data and whatnot but have not figured out an easy way to compile the daytime and night time populations for my research site, the greater Los Angeles area. If you could provide any guidance on how I can go about replicating the wonderfully illustrative map on your website, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Christopher Minniti
