Illegal Ad Company Conducts Street Art Takeover
NPA City Outdoor continues flouting rarely enforced laws, stepping up their illegal advertising assault in the Meatpacking District. Luna Park points out the corner of West 13th Street and Washington Street where the unlawful outdoor ad company recently installed one of their newest illegal billboards. The building at 437 West 13th Street has no permits for the illegal ad display. Considering NPA also covered up a mural by Conor Harrington, the location is a good candidate for a street advertising takeover.

That is totally stupid. You're telling me we're going to pay some $100,000-200,000 to keep this guy in prison over some tagging?? That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. That judge needs to lose some weight and get her sentencing in check… How on earth can you put someone away for a nonviolent crime like this for 8 years, just make him pay/clean it up. Then put him on probation for 5 years.
And to make an example? Do you really think people won't continue to tag? Are you stupid?? Even though I have no connection to this kid I'm so torn over this. I would love to give that judge a piece of my mind.
