Malaysia has banned Muslims from an upcoming concert by the Black Eyed Peas, not because of their horrible music, but their sponsor: Guinness. Ordinarily, alcohol companies are barred from staging concerts in the predominantly Muslim nation where a model was recently sentenced to caning after she was caught drinking beer in violation of Islamic law. However, the government relaxed regulations in hopes of garnering additional tourism dollars. Their cash compromise, as one official puts it, is that “Muslims cannot attend.
