    Can someone tell what this guy did in his life that people think he's so great? All I heard of him is he partied all the time, had a rich family (which is probably why he could party all the time) and made shitty art.

    i think they were friends with him, and that is why they are sad and painting him. they paint, so it makes sense.

    Dash = TOY and JUNKIE.

    At least he had a life and lived it, unlike 2/3rds of the preceding comments.

    @Who cares: I don't think he did anything "great" in his life, but a lot of people knew the potential he had, and recognized that he was going to be a great artist. Dash was totally dismantled from his rich upbringing and pop-culture, and was as desirous, creative and raw as any truly great artist is/should be.

    YA'LL ARE TRIPPIN… sace embodied the street subculture… stealing, graffiti, drugs… everything! yeah he had a rich family, and he was related to some famous people… but he rebeled aginst that shit…. if you think sace was a toy… u entitled to your opinion… he didnt paint very well, and he wasnt "all city" but people are talking and mourning him all over the would… if you think thats some toy shit cool… but i promise more people know about him than anyone on here posting comments… plus its super tacky to dis a dead person… respect certain shit homie!!

    Good g-d, I cant believe anyone would slander a person so harmless. Let any love toward him flow. Take your nasty suburban comments back behind your stupid white fence. I hope I can look up at Dash everyday as I enter the subway for the F train. I look up as I go in, and when I return home. That memorial to him makes my day bearable. I wish there were more . Long live the spirit of Dash Snow.
