Right Wingers Ask MSNBC To Leave Conference
One of the benefits of live TV are moments like this. This afternoon, MSNBC’s Brian Mooar attended the thoroughly right wing “Values Voters” Conference where issues like “countering the homosexual agenda” and “fighting the vast left wing conspiracy” are being discussed, when audience members asked him to leave. Unimpressed with the whole freedom of speech concept, security had to intervene after several attendees demanded he move his news reporting operation outside. Watch a clip of the attempted censorship after the jump. UPDATE: Video of a Fox reporter getting heckled added as well.

they also heckled the fox news dude.
I'm with the "values voters" here. They're trying to listen to a presentation, and some obnoxious media dude is standing behind them and talking over it. They firmly but politely asked him to quiet down.
@alex
if they cared so much about the presentation and to hear every word attentively then why did they go out of their way to try and prevent the news casters? In the first video The one gentleman with glasses literally had turned toward the camera from about row four and walked down the aisle to the back of the auditorium and proceed to talk and begin to gang up with Mrs. Putz. She surely knew her place then and started to even direct traffic.
"Sir, speak at a lower tone and/or be quit if and when you can" would have sufficed rather that "get out"!
Reporters like these are the reason most can't stand the title.
This might be a dumb question, but usually aren't media placed at a far enough distance that their reporting doesn't crowd over the sound of the speaker? I've never seen a conference/speech where someone has asked a news reporter to lower their volume, or atleast not in the manner this went down. It would seem to me if there was a problem a liason from the conference would go speak to the producer for the networks and tell them to cut it while speakers were on. And you can't tell me that a high powered conference like this one doesn't have some sort of PR person onboard.
Thank you for this blog post, I’ve been hunting for facts about this subject matter for ages and yours is the best I have discovered so far.
