Banksy, British Gamblers Tagged as Unsung Heroes

banksy-christiesBanksy has been named one of Britain’s Top 50 Unsung Heroes. Lauded for vandalizing cities worldwide, the reclusive millionaire is praised for not totally outing himself and selling work via galleries and dealers, like most artists, street or otherwise.

The list was published today in a cross-promotional celebration of the National Lottery’s 15th anniversary. Lest any dutiful gamblers feel left out, the lotto gives them even bigger props, calling them the “the world’s biggest unsung heroes” for throwing away their money, more than $40 million a week which funds “fantastic projects that improve community life.” |SKY|
