An Australian man fought off a murderous kangaroo that was trying to drown his dog in a pond. No really! They happened upon the sleeping marsupial in some town relatively close to Melbourne, surprising it, reports the UK’s Metro. After a quick chase, the trio ended up in the water where the thuggish kangaroo was reportedly holding the canine under. The man tried to free the dog, but was slashed by the beast’s claws. Injured, but not broken, he fought back, elbowing it in the neck, which worked. The attacker hopped away and the dog lived. |Metro|
