Haaa! Bubky is a disgruntled former FUBU employee, fired due to incompetence. FUBU stil does 100's of Millions in sales worldwide, as does Southpole. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink. EVERY clothing line has financial backers. Jay has 2 Russian partners at Rocawear (Alex & Norman). CLothing is similar to music in that if you want to distribute your product intrnationally, or globally, you need a back to produce the good, at the least. Also need money for staff, overhead and marketing.

Daymond is a partner in the company that owns, Coogi, FUBU, Crown Holder, Married the The Mobb & Drunken Monkey. I am sure he gets a nice salary as well as a royalty from sales. Do the knowledge idiots.

The writer of this article is much too biased and just ugly. I am glad Daymond defended himself. I am bumping this. I am proud of the Fubu legacy. They did amazing things no clothing line could have ever done or has done. They were/are trailblazers. They need to be respected more. No one says who "made" RL or CK rich. I mean seriously it is just low.

I saw some of the new fubu designs here http://www.youtube.com/alhayta#p/a/u/0/D3QI6__HQ9… and surprisingly, these joints look pretty hot to me. I have never for fubu. I don't think I was old enough back when it was on and poppin. After that, it was relegated to something my uncle would wear. I didn't know they were out of the US market for so many years…I thought they were just wack and nobody ws fucking with them. I have to say after seeing those new desgin, that I would definitely fux with them when they come back out. I don't know what I was expecting…but that shit looks hot. Good job Daymond. Keep doing you. Like you said… If you don't have haters, you must be doing something wrong.

WTF?? Before Shark Tank I didn't know FUBU history. As a white guy in the west, I had seen it in the stores etc – but really did not have a clue. Then I read Daymonds book out of curiosity, it was in our library free to check out. How can anyone doubt Daymond's sincerity? White Jewish guys as financial backers // sure why the hell not? Samsung too // again why the hell not? Without the clothing concept, dedication, desire and street smart marketing of Daymond and his gang the above investors would never had seen the potential. That's all he had at the start was potential – unlike the small companies Sharko D is reviewing in the Tank – Daymond's clothing venture was a pure roll of the dice, no sales record to brag about. Lucky for him someone was willing to up the ante and Daymond had the smarts to make a deal. Notice how it always comes back to daymond?
