Homeless Aid Organization Everyone Knows is A Sham Finally Recognized as a Sham By Authorities

Hey you know those freaking annoying assholes who set up shop with fold-out tables and giant water jugs and implore you to give “just one penny” to help the homeless? Yeah, well, they, the United Homeless Organization, are a joke, just as you probably already knew, but now the state attorney general’s office has finally recognized them as a sham and is dropping the hammer accordingly.
Reports the New York Post:
State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo filed suit yesterday, charging the United Homeless Organization is a scam run by con artists who pocket most of the change they collect — hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
The beggars — most of whom claim to be street people — say that the money tossed into their jugs goes to the homeless. And it does, the suit says. They just don’t bother to say they’re talking about themselves.
The main question I have about all of this is what the fuck took them so long? Guest of a Guest, of all people, pretty much uncovered this fraud in March of last year. Does Andrew Cuomo not read the internet?

What is sorely missed is the one visionary venture that had homeless in the media biz, Street News "the newspaper for the homeless, sold by the homeless." Rudy took them out by jailing their salesforce
