Look at all the liberal sac dwelling fans of Jon "Out of context" Stewart. Mr. Leibowitz really should not be throwing stones when the house he lives in is made of such fragile glass. Then again, I'd expect this of a liberal tool who grew up without a father (aka, most of them).

Obama's administration is outright hostile to any accountability and is directly attacking Fox News for its objective coverage. I've never heard some much whining and complaining from a President before about a private news organization.

As punishment, the White House tried to exclude Fox News from a White House Press Pool interview of pay czar Kenneth Feinberg. The other networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN) were so spooked by this creepy move, that they united and threatened to boycott the interview if Fox wasn't allowed to be present:

My fellow Americans, whether you are liberal or conservative, we all live in a a republic. Our private media is the watchdog of our representative democracy. Private media is the last great check on tyranny.

Obama is threatened by Fox News, because it's holding him and his administration accountable.

President Bush endured years of hostile press, protesters at his private ranch, ridicule from late night comedy, and he never complained.

Is that the best you can do is say the the rally wasn't last minute? First you are working off assumtions, you have no proof. If that's the case then let's just stop reporting altogether on rallies of any kind, Conservative or Libeal. How's that? And second what about everything else in my blog? Hmmmm? You have focused on the one thing that is MEANINGLESS.

realitycheck...Also, I live in DC and you better believe that a rally is never last minute. The government is here! District and mostly Federal. The Federal Government is the driving force in the downtown areas where rallies are held and there is no way in hell a rally could ever be last minute anywhere near the White House, the OEB, Justice, FBI, Congress, and the State Department (to name a few). Trust me!

To those of you having your very brief gloat fest: Yeah and there were really a million men at the Million Man March. How many of you believe that?

First if they did it on purpose, and I doubt it, I'm glad they got caught. It would be a shame because the crowd speaks for itself. However many people showed up... showed up. 10 - 15000 is still a huge number for something organized that quickly.

But it's much more likely that the "producers of the show" were caught with their pants down because they had no useable footage of the larger crowd. So they pulled some footage of the recent Beck rally thinking it didn't matter. Have you ever seen footage of 10 - 15 thousand people? I promise depending on the angle you wouldn't know the difference.

Again for the record I'm not excusing the mistake. They are paying for it. But the fact that a comedy show is scrutinizing Fox at that level says a lot. It says they are in fact scared to death of the ground swell of people that showed up in very short time that the event was advertised. Someone has to actually sit through every show on Fox actively looking for mistakes. And frankly as far as I can tell this is the first time I've seen anything like this get discovered. Even Jon Stewart is willing to use the 10,000 number from the Washington Post. It amazes me how conveniently you all over look that number. If the Post was willing to say 10,000 then you and I know it was at least 15,000. Dude, that's a lot of people at ANY rally.

But here's the real point; why doesn’t Stewart use his resources to look at the real problem. And that is all of the intentional lies being told by the Obama administration about Health Care Reform, Cap and Trade, and the Stimulus which is stimulating nothing but more unemployment. Why doesn't he take even a cursory look at recovery.gov and all of the "accidental" mistakes in the Saved or Created Jobs scam? THAT would actually be a worthy use of resources. Are you aware that they recently spent 18,000,000 to CORRECT the recovery.gov website? How many people could that money have helped? There's the real story. Do any of you liberal gotcha drones care?

Lastly, did you see the crowd in the Beck rally? That is another conveniently over looked fact in all of this. Between the Tea Parties, the Beck rally, the town hall meetings, and the White House rally on Nov 5th that's a lot of people by ANYONE'S estimation coming out to say the same thing. Stop screwing with our lives and taxing us to death! As you continue to gloat and over look the obvious get ready for the 2010 elections. You obviously missed what happened a few weeks ago in the elections. (Liberals thinking) “Oh! You mean there were elections this year?” You guys are about to be woken up.

Cheers!

It's guys like Gary that give the Republicans a bad name. I'm a conservative democrat, kinda of centrist but have voted Republican in the past, when there were true Republicans. Now, you have neanderthals that profess they are Republicans solely because they don't have a party to associate themselves to is quite tragic. I would love to call them fanatics but that would be considered to "extreme". Hmmmmmm, extremists!! That's the ticket!!

Gary, I apologize for misunderstanding the spade's a spade comment. The Hassan part of the Hannity clip was referring to warning signs and had nothing to do with Obama, and Jon Stewart made a throwaway joke about this observation. You didn't get the joke and I now recognize you didn't get the joke. Your Hassan comments had nothing to do with the clip and nothing to do with Jon Stewart's joke.

I will point out you did start out your comments comparing The Daily Show to Fox News. I just wanted to explain I don't agree that the two are equal and I think it's a bad comparison. Though I guess I should be okay with the comparison. Fox News equals Comedy. Again, I apologize for using the phrase a spade's a spade incorrectly.

And Chris, thank you for stating things far better than I ever could. I'm a registered Democrat, but as I pay more attention to issues as I grow older, I feel my views are probably more conservative. It's just I have such a hard time ignoring all the hate and fearmongering from Fox News. I associate this example of Fox's deception with the GOP. It's not at all fair, but that's the lousy effect this stupid nonsense has on me. And if the GOP wants to have any success, I absolutely agree with you that they need to engage and (as the Daily Show perfectly puts it) not alter reality and sell a preconceived narrative.
