Circus Animals Get Trashed

Artist Al Wadzinski creates intricate animal sculptures out of found objects and scavenged junk. This week the sculptor opens a circus-themed exhibition, boldly billed as “The Greatest Show on Earth” at NY Studio Gallery. Featuring a “bizarre and often tragic cast of characters,” the assemblage of creatures include everything from rats to lions and elephants, all “manipulated and distorted” like their real-life three-ring counterparts.
