From broken branches, bits of cloth, pieces of wire, and other lost and found objects, artist Geoffrey Gorman creates intriguing animals sculptures. These creatures are not only brought to life through the artist’s careful construction, based off observations around the world, but through his use of weathered and natural materials which mimic the appearance and texture of fur and bones. Beautiful on it’s own, the New Mexico-based sculptor’s work is also a compelling compromise for anyone squeamish about dead animal art.
