Atlantic Yards Dumps Frank Gehry

After Atlantic Yards developer Bruce Ratner revealed last week that architect Frank Gehry wouldn’t be designing a basketball stadium for the Nets, comes the news that Gehry is off the project altogether. Although Gehry has been paid tens of millions of dollars for his work and help marketing the money pit, his costly designs will be replaced with budget buildings. |NYT|
