You’ve probably seen the insipid T&A TV spot for Burger King’s new Burger Shots. Here’s the campaign’s print ad, scanned from Giant (soon to be Goliath?) magazine. Japanese technology? Is that where White Castle was founded? Or are you actually making fun of the relative short stature of an entire nation of people, BK? If you do in fact use Japanese-made restaurant equipment to make your Slyder knock-offs, maybe you should reference that in the ad, instead of simply biting Kidrobot-style artwork; though the unoriginality of the layout does nicely fit the product.

Thanks Andy, I got that. I was being literal.
I think it’s referring to the fact that Japan is known for their technological advances. One of the most common advances in technology is making devices that are smaller and smaller but still fully functional. (See mainframe computer > PC > laptop > smart phones.) I’m pretty sure that’s all it meant. Just saying.
