bear-sandwichA black bear jumped a northwestern New Jersey man in his driveway and stole his Italian sandwich. 51-year-old Henry Rouwnedal was packing his car for a trip when the animal assaulted him from behind. Despite kicking the bear in the face, it knocked him unconscious, leaving him with cuts and bruises to the head. Although Rouwnedal says, “I could have bled to death,” he notes, “I was more angry about losing my sandwich than getting whacked by the bear.” The food stealing beast is still at large after evading a trap.
