A fascination with the Berlin Wall, the symbol of Germany’s division, led photographer Eric White to look at other formidable barriers. Focused on the US-Mexico border, White captured images of the fence separation, seeking to highlight the “increasingly desolated and deadly” areas that the Borderlands have become with the government’s mounting efforts to stymie crossings. White’s barren images feature miles and miles of fencing and forms of border control, including the Skywatch towers that have become a ubiquitous part of New York City’s landscapes. |The Exposure Project|
