Protesting the typically high price of art supplies, Steven Dobbin works with the waste they leave behind. No stranger to more traditional mediums, the Maryland-based artist has used reclaimed paint buckets to sculpt trash pyramids and metallic tapestries. Tonight, Dobbin’s solo show of these colorful works, “Reclamation,” opens at Williamsburg’s Causey Contemporary gallery.
