This isn't bravery. It's terrible public policy. The law is the law. There's no grace period for turnstile jumping or graffiti or murder.
We the people make the laws and have the RIGHT to oppose, modify ordinances. Explain why in some areas when alt side parking is in effect people double park and dont get ticketed? Its because the community decided they dont want to be ticketed and made a stink. That is the law people are the law. In Westchester there usually is a 5 minute grace button you press if you just need to run in a store or something. This is called courtesy which most one way Dracoinan dunderheads can't grasp. Equating grace periods to murder or graffiti is just dumb. Tickets are just a revenue source unlike murder.
