Pared down to their environmental essence, the careful observations behind George Booruiv’s drawings of North American landscapes and animals are made only more apparent. In a more cluttered scene, you might not see his Grizzly bear’s amputation or the bug burrowing into a sickly looking Bluebird. Tomorrow night, “Migratory Drift,” a solo exhibition of the Booruiv’s work opens at Chelsea’s P.P.O.W. Gallery. The show opens from 6 to 8 PM on September 17 through October 5th at 511 West 25th Street, Room 301.
