The chance is there but its no different than any other poor area anywhere else in the world. You have areas robbery is common and areas its not. But even in areas it's common it ain't guaranteed. Just like if you walk through Fat Joe's native South Bronx you have a good chance of getting robbed coming through there chains hanging all the time. But it ain't guaranteed it will happen the first time you walk through. It's just a lot more likely than Wall Street.
